What is the Event Content Planner?
It is a tool inside MixSocial that tells you which holidays, festivals and awareness days are coming up in the countries you post to. You pick the ones that suit your business, and it helps you get a post ready for each one.
Why would I use it?
Busy days are easy to miss, and a post written the night before is rarely your best. Seeing events weeks ahead gives you time to plan, write and check your posts, so you show up at the right moment.
Will it post anything without me?
No. It only suggests events and helps you write drafts. Nothing is scheduled or published until you, or the person who approves your posts, decide it is ready.
How does it know which events matter to me?
You choose the countries you post to, and the regions too if you like. You then see the events for those places, with the correct date for each country. Thanksgiving in the United States and in Canada fall on different days, and you see each one on its own day.
What if I post to two countries?
Choose both. You can also set two time zones, see the time in both places side by side, and make one post for both or a separate post for each audience.
Which countries are covered?
The United States, India, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, Ireland, Singapore, the Netherlands and Sweden. More can be added without waiting for an update.
Are the dates always right?
Fixed holidays are worked out for you. Some festivals follow the moon or are announced late, so their dates can move. Those are clearly marked "date may change", and each event shows where its date comes from.
What happens if a date changes after I accepted an event?
You are told. The event is marked so you can check it. Your planned posts are never moved on their own.
Can I say no to events?
Yes. Reject any event and it will not come back. Changed your mind? Restore it later. You can also stop one event from being suggested again.
Does it use AI to write posts?
It can help you write a first draft in the style you choose, such as celebratory or educational, using what you told us about your business. You can edit or replace every word. If writing help is off for your workspace, you get a simple starting draft instead.
Does everyone on my team see the same events?
Each workspace has its own choices. Accepting or rejecting an event in one workspace does not change another. This keeps client accounts separate.
Which plan includes it?
